♛ Schedule: 4 rounds, swiss system pairings. No one gets eliminated. Time control is 30 minuteswith a 5 second delay. Up to one half point byes can be requested for those who are unable to playall the rounds. First round will start at 9:00 a.m. Projected ending of 3:00 pm.
♔ Sections: Open for Kindergarten to 12th grade; Sections are K-3, 4-6, and 7-12. Students may playin their own grade section or play up if their rating is much higher than the average section opponents(e.g.,6th graders have the choice of playing in their own section, or in the 7-12 section if theychoose). Sections may be combined due to player registration and TD discretion.

Those who wait to register onsitemay be given a first round bye.♟ $20 on or before February 1st, 2024; $30 onsite or after February 1st
♖ Prizes: The amount of trophies given will be determined by the amount of early entrees received
♖ US Chess Federation: US Chess rules will be used with the variations in the Utah Scholastic ChessHandbook (basically, clocks and notation are not required in the K-3 sections). Other variationsmay be announced at the event. This event will be a US Chess rated event.
♖ Other Info: This is a USCF event and a USCF membership is required to play.
