| Daniel Thomson | 801-800-1880 | coachdannychess@gmail.com | I am a Utah-based chess coach based in American Fork with three years of professional coaching experience, including serving as a Lead Coach for PowerChess. I have a background in music education and private instruction and have worked with students of all ages and skill levels, from complete beginners to competitive tournament players. I won the 2025 Utah Amateur Championship and am currently rated 2200 on Chess.com and still improving! I have extensive experience teaching both private and group lessons, with a focus on helping each student improve through personalized instruction and analysis of their own games. My private lessons are $50 for one hour or $30 for a half-hour. I also offer a free trial lesson for new students so families can see if my coaching is the right fit for them. Feel free to email or text me to get started! |
